WEEK OF MARCH 23RD
This week we will meet on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. We need to get thank you notes finished, shirts ordered, and driving strategy nailed down. Including this week, we only have 5 meetings left before Worlds. The new group starts April 8th so we wont practice that much that night so really consider we have 4 left.

WEEK OF MARCH 16TH
Now that the PA event has past, we will focus on Worlds. On Monday we will go over logistics (uniforms, meals, daily schedules, and strategy when playing with other teams). On Wednesday we will begin the technical preparations.

Congrats again on a job well done in PA (Tournament Champs)!! Click HERE for a link to pictures and the finals video.

END OF SEASON RECAP
On February 20th, 3 robotics teams traveled to Doswell, VA to compete in the 2015 Virginia State Robotics Tournament. After nearly 9 hours of competition, Team S walked away winning the State Tournament Championship and the State Excellence Award. They were ranked #1 in the final standings and 2nd in both skills challenges. This qualifies Team S for the 2015 World Tournament in Louisville, KY April 15th-18th. Before that, this team will compete in Philadelphia on March 13th. Team E finished the day ranked #5 and Team T finished #9. All 3 teams were in the finals so each had a chance to win the tournament. The entire Triangle Family should be proud of all of our teams and the hard work they put into the program.

Like last year, we are requesting and accepting donations for the World Tournament trip. If you, your organization/company, or if you know of a source of funding for our trip and our program in general, please contact Mr. Osweiler. All sponsors are recognized on all uniforms, website, and signage.

This week we will meet on Monday and Wednesday to break down bots and store equipment. If we do not finish, we will meet again next week. For now, we will no longer meet on Thursdays.

TOURNAMENT RECAP
On January 31st, 3 Triangle teams competed in the Fairfax Regional Tournament, the last stop before states. Team S walked away with the Elementary Excellence Award. This is given to the overall best elementary team at the tournament. They finished the tournament ranked #1 out of all elementary and middle school teams. They had the best robot skills score out of all elementary teams and the second best programming skills score. Team E finished 9th and made it to the finals (top 10). Team T finished 11th - 1 point away from the finals. What this means is that every move matters and every minute matters. We have 3 weeks left to claim a spot to Worlds. We cant waste any time and have to take advantage of every second we can. If we practice like champions, we will be champions. Remember that these last 3 weeks.

2014-2015 GAME: HIGHRISE
